HTDC Sandbox Motion Graphics
A collection of motion loops created for Hawaii Technology Development Center's recently opened Entrepreneur Sandbox in Kaka'ako. The loops were projected onto the 35 foot screen on the interior wall of the building. The concept was to combine organic Hawaii-inspired elements and movement with visuals evoking technology, growth, and innovation. I used C4D a heavy dose of X-Particles for most of the content.
In some of my early explorations I thought about making the visuals more of a "journey," with abstract light elements traveling throughout the islands and transforming the world somehow. I experimented with a few different approaches but ultimately these ideas didn't make it past the conceptual phase.
