Scared of the Scramble
A short loop about how it can feel crossing the street in Shibuya if you're afraid of crowds. Created with C4D, rendered with Redshift. I rigged the "crosser" with Bendy Limbs and used X-particles for the crowd.
Glass City
In the early stages of creating this loop I explored an alternative look using more transparent materials and simplified shapes. Ultimately I wanted the piece to have some character animation, but there are elements of this alternative approach that I really like.
Discarded Drafts & Dead Ends
Initially I tried a different style for the proportions and animation for the "crosser," but that version never felt like it fit into the scene. Maybe I'll find another use for this character somewhere else.
